Click Click Domino is the upcoming album from British two-piece Ida Mae, who have returned with their latest single from the release: ‘Little Liars’. The pair have found a way to continually craft hypnotic textures and soundscapes as an accompaniment to Stephanie Jean’s powerful lead vocal. Despite the thin textures, there is something warm about Ida Mae’s music, which is only pushed forward by the TP Hyland-directed video. “I knew instantly I wanted to match the monotonous riff and beat with something equally odd and looping,” he explains. “I loved the way Ida combined 80's drum machine with Blues influence and the strange production that ebbed and flowed the concoction of tastes throughout. It's now our 8th video together and I wanted to try something similarly strange and monotonous with the visuals.” Be sure to keep an ear out for Click Click Domino. -Dan Peeke
